MHST Band 6 Clinician Supervisor Nurse/SW/OT/EMHP
Join our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) as a Band 6 Clinician and help deliver early intervention mental health support to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties. MHSTs work in education settings, providing evidence‑based interventions, primarily through Low Intensity CBT delivered individually and in groups.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deliver Low Intensity CBT interventions individually and in groups to children and young people in educational settings.
- Support children, young people, their families and carers to promote best practice in mental health.
- Provide clinical supervision and line management to EMHPs and CWPs, ensuring quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to service protocols.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, schools and communities across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to service improvement.
- Comply with Equal Opportunities and safe working environment policies.
- Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or registered Low Intensity CBT practitioner (EMHP or CWP).
- Completed Low Intensity Supervisor Training (LIST) or currently undertaking the course.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering supervision and line management within the last 12 months.
- Relevant experience in delivering supervision and line management within the last 12 months.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
