About the employer

This position is to support a female in her 30’s living with complex mental health needs. The employer has interests in crafting, animals, and the outdoors. She is very motivated to be supported and to work with a female support worker to become more independent.

• Accompanying to visiting friends and attend social events
• Medical appointments (this could involve support before, during and after the appointments)
• Support to leisure centre to access swimming. PA doesn’t need to swim or come in the water.
• Nature and animals. Employer attends an animal sanctuary on a Friday.

• Prompting with personal care.
• Support to create and prompting to maintain a routine.
• Prompting around daily tasks.

• Light domestic work (candidate will need to be physically able to carry out day to day domestic tasks such as taking out the rubbish, hoovering, dusting. etc to support the employer appropriately)
• Shopping and Meal Planning

20 hours per week – option of Job share

Monday – 09:45-12:15

Tuesday – 10am – 12pm

Thursday – 2pm – 4pm

Friday – 09:15am – 3:45pm

Saturday 2:30pm – 5pm

Sunday 11am – 2pm – Can be flexible

£14.20 per hour.

• Full Uk Driving licence
• Car and appropriate insurance
• Good at building relationships

ROLE IS BASED IN WEDNESFIELD

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
