We are recruiting for a number of packages in West Sussex and are looking for children, young people, or adult Healthcare Assistants.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will play a vital role in helping individuals live safely, independently, and comfortably within their own homes and communities. RoleResponsibilities
As a healthcare assistant in this package of care you will:
- Support patients with their physical care needs, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and comfort.
- Deliver person-centered care according to individual bespoke care plans.
- Promote independence and respect each patient’s spiritual, psychological, and cultural needs.
- Maintain accurate care records.
- Assist with communication between patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Administer prescribed medication or clinical tasks after completing our advanced training and competency sign off.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Regional Nurse Manager.
- Contribute to a supportive, high-standard care environment.
Please note that whilst experience in some of these areas is desirable, we will provide service user specific training.
- Complex care

The successful applicant in this role will be:

- A driving licence is essential for this role.
- Experience is not essential for this position but transferable skills will be important.

- £14.00 per hour (Flat Rate)
- £26.00/hour during all day Bank holidays
- Day Shift: 8am – 8pm
- Night Shift: 8pm – 8am
