Specialist Radiographer FTC

The Imaging team at Spire Clare Park Hospital needs a specialist radiographer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The post covers MRI, general radiography and theatre imaging, adapting techniques to varied referral pathways and clinical protocols and escalating significant findings. It is part time at 22.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 8pm, within an independent elective hospital. Applicants need HCPC registration and imaging experience in at least one of those areas.

• Provide high-quality MRI, general and theatre imaging services
• Adapt imaging techniques to referral pathways and clinical protocols
• Recognise significant pathology and escalate findings appropriately
• Deliver high-standard patient care and clear communication
• Maintain Spire radiology procedures and quality standards
• Complete mandatory training and ongoing professional development

• Diploma or degree in diagnostic radiography

• HCPC registration as a radiographer

• Experience in MRI, general radiography and/or theatre imaging

• Strong communication and IT skills

• Cannulation and IV drug administration training
• Postgraduate qualification in MRI or CT
• Previous private healthcare experience
