We're looking for an ambitious, innovative and values driven People Wellbeing Lead to shape the future of wellbeing across one of the largest employers in the region. The Opportunity

This role gives you a rare chance to create, shape and influence.

You will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our organisation-wide wellbeing approach
  • Design innovative approaches to prevention, early intervention and workforce health.
  • Use data and insight to identify trends, predict risks and influence action.
  • Partner with leaders across the organisation to embed wellbeing into workforce planning, organisational design and leadership practice.
  • Deliver high-profile programmes that improve attendance, reduce health-related risks and strengthen employee experience.
  • Represent the Council at local, regional and national forums, positioning Wolverhampton as a leading employer for workforce wellbeing.

You might currently work in organisational development, employee wellbeing, HR, workforce transformation, occupational health, public health or a related profession.

Most importantly, you'll bring:

  • Experience of leading meaningful organisational change.
  • A track record of influencing senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • A passion for creating healthier, happier and more productive workplaces.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn insight into action.
