HR Advisor FTC

HR Advisor 3 month FTC Salary: £35,000 Chorley (3 in/ 2 from home) I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a growing business for an experienced HR Advisor to join their HR team on an initial 3-month contract , with a strong possibility of extension or a permanent opportunity. This is a broad generalist role where you'll support managers across the business with employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, absence management, HR administration and compliance.

Key Responsibilities Provide HR advice and support to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management. Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, including BS7858 screening and pre-employment checks. Deliver inductions and ensure a positive onboarding experience for new starters. Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems and documentation. Support TUPE activities, consultations and employee communications. Work closely with Payroll to ensure employee changes are processed accurately.

Draft contracts, letters and HR correspondence. Support employee engagement initiatives, HR projects and process improvements. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies. About You Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Experience handling employee relations cases. Recruitment and onboarding experience. Knowledge of BS7858 screening and vetting processes.

Experience supporting TUPE processes. Strong administration and organisational skills. Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business. CIPD qualification desirable. What's on Offer?
