Product Support Engineer

Package: £40,000 per annum
Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 9am – 5pm, Friday: 9am – 4.30pm

I’m supporting an established engineering business that, due to continued growth across its product and solutions portfolio, is looking to appoint an experienced Product Support Engineer. This is a customer-facing technical role within a quality-driven engineering environment, supporting both internal teams and external customers across a diverse product range.
The business delivers engineered technology solutions for demanding applications.
This role offers long-term stability, exposure to varied systems and technologies, and genuine opportunities to influence product improvement, support capability, and customer satisfaction within a growing organisation.
Product Support Engineer
Job Description
Provide high-quality technical support to customers and internal teams via phone, email, and remote access.
Manage and track support and solutions tasks using (url removed), ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
Liaise with internal engineering, compliance, and validation teams, as well as external partners, to resolve technical issues.
Deliver remote and occasional onsite technical support, escalating issues where required.
Produce and maintain technical bulletins, support documentation, and training materials.

Experience / Skills / Qualifications
Proven experience supporting IP or IoT-based systems incorporating hardware, software, and configuration tools.
Strong working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS operating systems, including virtual environments.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including routers, switches, and common protocols.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and IP-based devices.
Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving ability, and a detail-focused, customer-centric approach.
