Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect specializing in Microsoft Fabric to join our dynamic team in a client-facing role. As a Microsoft Fabric Architect, you will be able to work with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries, providing innovative data solutions and leveraging Microsoft's cutting-edge technologies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Client Engagement and Consultation:
Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, data challenges, and objectives. Provide expert guidance on leveraging Microsoft Fabric to achieve their goals. - Solution Design:
Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end data solutions that integrate Microsoft Fabric components such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Power BI, and other relevant technologies. - Implementation and Deployment:
Oversee the implementation and deployment of data solutions, ensuring they align with best practices and industry standards. Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization. - Data Modelling and Integration:
Design and implement data models, data pipelines, and integration strategies to ensure robust data flow and accessibility across various systems and platforms. - Performance Tuning and Technical Optimization:
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency of data solutions. - Security and Compliance:
Ensure that data solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data privacy regulations and organizational policies. - Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. - Project Management:
Lead and manage data projects, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, and risk management. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. - Client Training and Support:
Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to clients, enabling them to effectively utilize the implemented data solutions.
Here's what we're looking for:
- 7-10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies or other market leading technologies
- Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in data modelling, ETL processes, data integration, SQL, and data warehousing concepts with a strong understanding of cloud computing, real time data and data security best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Experience in managing data projects, including project scoping, planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
