It is an exciting time to join Royal Mail. We are reinventing the business and now you can be part of it as a Collections and Network Driver. You will bring trust to the doorstep, give outstanding service, and make customer days brighter.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering post boxes, visiting post offices, and collecting mail from business customers at prearranged times.
- Dropping collected mail at processing centres.
- Sorting mailbags and ensuring each piece reaches the correct destination on time.
- Handling election materials and certain other items such as food products or alcohol in line with Royal Mail standards.
- Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
- People‑person who enjoys interacting with others.
- Happy walking for long periods and working outside in all weather.
- Strong sense of community and pride in your work.
- Seeking a role with flexible shift patterns.
- Holds a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68 p/h, paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours.
- 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to working hours if below 37 per week).

Please note:
For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35–37 hours per week are listed as full‑time. Any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part‑time in the employment contract.
