The successful candidate will possess a strong background in planning and supply chain analysis within a manufacturing environment, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable business insights. Experience using SAP is highly desirable, and candidates with aftermarket, service parts, spares or MRO planning experience will be particularly well suited to the role.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse and maintain demand forecasts to support the SIOP process.
- Review planning data, identify trends and provide recommendations to improve forecast accuracy.
- Support inventory planning and optimisation activities.
- Produce and maintain KPI reporting for planning, inventory and forecasting performance.
- Work closely with operations, supply chain, procurement and finance teams to ensure demand and supply alignment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and reporting efficiency.
- Utilise SAP and other planning systems to manage and analyse business data.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the supply chain and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Proven experience within SIOP, S&OP, demand planning, supply chain planning or production planning.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- SAP experience.
- Aerospace, engineering or automotive manufacturing background.
- Aftermarket, service parts, spares planning or MRO experience.
- Experience supporting forecasting and inventory management activities within a complex supply chain environment.
