Part-Time Cleaning Operative Required – Essington

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to support operations at our Essington site.

This is a part-time position working 3 nights per week, offering an excellent opportunity to join a supportive working environment whilst helping to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards across the site.

Site Areas Include:

• Security gatehouse

• Canteen area

• Male and female toilet facilities

• Office areas

Key Responsibilities:

• General cleaning of all designated site areas

• Maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the shift

• Cleaning and sanitising heavily used male and female toilet facilities

• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables

• Cleaning communal areas, offices, and welfare facilities

• Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly

• Reporting any maintenance or health & safety concerns

Please note, the male toilet facilities are heavily used throughout the night shift and may require multiple cleans during the shift in order to maintain hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Good attention to detail

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Whilst the role will follow agreed working hours, some flexibility will be required around operational peak periods, particularly during Bank Holidays, Christmas, and Easter, where additional cover or increased cleaning frequencies may be required at the Essington site.
