Plant Fitter

Are you an experienced Plant Fitter looking for a stable, well-paid role with a leading industrial business? We're looking for a hands-on Plant Engineer to maintain and repair a wide range of heavy plant and recycling equipment within a busy processing facility. If you enjoy fault finding, getting machinery back up and running, and working on a variety of equipment, this could be the opportunity for you.

The Role Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing mobile and static plant, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and available for operation. This is a varied role where no two shifts are the same. Responsibilities Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Reactive breakdown repairs Mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical fault finding Inspection and servicing of plant equipment Root cause analysis Supporting continuous improvement activities Maintaining accurate maintenance records Working safely in line with company procedures What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer, Plant Technician or Heavy Plant Engineer Strong mechanical fault-finding ability Good knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines and mobile plant Basic electrical fault-finding experience would be advantageous A proactive, safety-focused approach to maintenance What's On Offer £45,000 basic salary 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights Overtime opportunities Pension Ongoing training and development Long-term career progression Stable, growing business with significant investment Whether your background is construction plant, materials handling, quarrying, agriculture, waste management or heavy industrial equipment, we'd be keen to hear from you.
