Registered Manager – Children’s Learning Disability Service
Near Wolverhampton

Claire at Amber Mace is recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking care provider for a Registered Manager to lead a children’s learning disability home located close to Wolverhampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Children’s Manager, or a driven Deputy Manager ready to step up, to take ownership of a small, specialist service where quality of care is the priority.
About the Role:
You will play a key role in shaping a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children with learning disabilities. Alongside ensuring full Ofsted compliance, you will lead a dedicated staff team and work closely with families and professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.
Key Duties:
Overall leadership and management of the children’s residential service
Driving high standards of person-centred and values-led care
Ensuring safeguarding practices are embedded and effective
Managing Ofsted inspections and regulatory compliance
Recruiting, developing, and retaining a committed staff team
Building strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children in an Ofsted-regulated setting
Experience supporting children with learning disabilities
Registered Manager experience or Deputy Manager experience with clear potential to progress
Confident, resilient, and child-focused leadership style
Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
