We are looking for a cleaning supervisor to supervise a team of cleaning staff across our campuses and student accommodation to deliver a high-quality cleaning service.
Cleaning supervisor role and responsibilities- Ensure that an efficient cleaning service is delivered, and high quality standards are maintained
- Manage equipment, materials and stock levels
- Train and develop staff
- Control costs to ensure services are delivered within agreed budget
- Maintain and record necessary records
Previous management or supervisory experience is essential particularly in a cleaning setting. More important is the ability to work independently, lead and motivate a team. In addition to ensuring high quality cleaning standards, you will also be responsible for maintaining stock levels, staff training and development.
Cleaning Supervisor to succeed in this role you will need:- Experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry
- Strong people skills
- Attention to detail and high standards of work
- Good relationship building skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- Good general level of education
This post will be for 25 hours 2pm-7pm Monday-Friday.
