As Business Services Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing the business services function, working closely with partners and senior management to drive the firm's growth strategy. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality advisory and compliance services, and building lasting client relationships. This is a varied and challenging position that will suit a commercially minded individual with a strong background in accountancy practice and a proven track record at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities- Leading and managing the business services team, overseeing workflow, capacity, and quality of output
- Managing a portfolio of business services clients, acting as the key point of contact for accounts preparation, management reporting, and advisory matters
- Supporting partners in business development activities, identifying opportunities to grow the client base and expand service offerings
- Mentoring and developing junior and mid-level team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the firm, working at board level to shape the business services proposition
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with significant post-qualification experience at a senior level
- Demonstrable experience managing client portfolios and leading teams within an accountancy practice setting
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts preparation, management accounts, and business advisory services
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the gravitas to operate confidently at Director level
