City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking a Finance Manager (Grade
8) to lead a small team through year-end closedown, oversee the Statement of Accounts, and ensure compliance with CIPFA and relevant standards. The role is permanent, full time (37 hours) with hybrid working.
The successful candidate will bring CCAB/CIMA Chartered status, extensive public sector accounting experience, and the ability to advise on accounting, financial reporting and taxation with a focus on continuous improvement
