Key Responsibilities
• Establish and develop the supported living service, creating systems, policies, and procedures from inception
• Secure Approved Provider List (APL) status and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Manage the recruitment, induction, and onboarding of care staff and support workers
• Lead and manage all day-to-day operations of the supported living service
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and performance monitoring systems
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, commissioning bodies, and healthcare providers
• Manage budgets, finances, and resource allocation effectively
• Ensure excellent standards of person-centered care and support to all service users
• Oversee staff training, development, and ongoing supervision
• Implement safeguarding policies and ensure duty of care is maintained at all times Essential Requirements
• Proven experience in securing APL (Approved Provider List) status for care services
• Minimum 5 years' experience in supported living, care management, or similar sector
• Demonstrated experience establishing and developing new services or ventures
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulatory requirements and commissioning processes
• Excellent leadership, team management, and recruitment skills
• Strong financial management and budgeting capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care principles
• Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate

Desirable Requirements
• Experience with contract management and procurement
• Knowledge of health and social care commissioning landscape
• Project management qualifications or experience
