Gauge Cal CMM Technician

LOCATION:

Wolverhampton EPMC

In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. • Maintain and repair gauges to ensure efficient operation and compliance with TS16949 standards
• Monitor and audit CMM functions, keeping operations running smoothly
• Collaborate with plant quality and engineering teams to resolve customer complaints and implement improvements
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective repairs to minimise downtime
• Support metrology and calibration activities, ensuring all products meet the highest standards

• Indentured apprenticeship or level 3 NVQ or equivalent
• Problem Solving Techniques - Root cause analysis. Good Fault-Finding Skills
• Ability to make decisions quickly, sometimes in demanding situations.
• Machining / Toolroom OR Metrology Experience
• Experience writing/improving CMM programming for calibration/verification
