As a Gauge Cal CMM Technician here at JLR, you will be skilled in maintaining precision equipment and passionate about ensuring top-tier quality in manufacturing. You will join the team at JLR's Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC) in Wolverhampton, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing mechanical gauges, CMMs, and other measurement/test equipment that drive our cutting-edge machining and assembly processes.

In this role, no two tasks are the same. With lots of projects and relationships to build with people across the business and beyond, it's a challenge that will help your career grow within an iconic organisation. Here's what to expect:

• Maintain and repair gauges to ensure efficient operation and compliance with TS16949 standards
• Monitor and audit CMM functions, keeping operations running smoothly
• Collaborate with plant quality and engineering teams to resolve customer complaints and implement improvements
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective repairs to minimise downtime
• Support metrology and calibration activities, ensuring all products meet the highest standards

• Indentured apprenticeship or level 3 NVQ or equivalent
• Problem Solving Techniques - Root cause analysis. Good Fault-Finding Skills
• Ability to make decisions quickly, sometimes in demanding situations
• Machining / Toolroom OR Metrology Experience
• Experience writing/improving CMM programming for calibration/verification
