Press Brake Setter Operator

Masstemps are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter/Operator on behalf of JTB Pressings based in Wolverhampton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating press brake machinery to produce high-quality metal components in line with engineering drawings and production requirements. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Set and operate press brake machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
• Select correct tooling and adjust machine settings accordingly
• Produce parts to required tolerances and quality standards
• Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic fault finding
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed production times
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter/Operator
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience working with sheet metal
• Knowledge of tooling setup and machine adjustment
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing setting

• Experience with CNC press brake machines
• Previous experience within a similar manufacturing environment
