Cnc Programmer Setter Operator

Position: Cnc Programmer Setter Operator (Permanent)
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Programmer to join our clients fast‑paced precision manufacturing team. You’ll set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce high‑quality components while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety on every job.

Shifts:

Mon–Thurs: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm
Fri: 6am–12pm / 12pm–6pm

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up CNC machines, install tools/fixtures, and adjust speeds & feeds.

* Write, edit, and optimise CNC programs (G‑code/M‑code).

* Produce components to specification and carry out in‑process inspections.

* Troubleshoot tool wear, program errors, and machine issues.

* Perform routine maintenance and maintain clear documentation.

* Collaborate with engineers and support continuous improvement activities.

What You Need:

* 1–2+ years’ experience in CNC setting/operating/programming.

* Confident with reading engineering drawings.

* Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas controls.

* Knowledge of multi‑axis machining (3–5 axis) preferred.

* Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

* Physically able to meet shop‑floor demands (standing, lifting up to 20kg).

Work Environment:
Busy manufacturing environment—PPE required, strong safety culture
