CNC Setter/Programmer – Aluminium Extrusions
Full-time, Permanent
Shifts: Mon–Thurs 6–2 / 2–10, Fri 6–12 / 12–6 Pay: £16–£21 DOE
We’re looking for a skilled CNC Setter/Programmer to take parts from initial program to final sign‑off within a busy production environment.
Role Overview- Create and optimise offline CNC programs
- Set up machines, tooling, jigs, and work holding
- Run and monitor production, carrying out in-process checks
- Work with QA to verify and adjust parts
- Troubleshoot tooling, programming, and machine issues
- Complete documentation and basic maintenance
- CNC programming experience (G‖code/M‖code, CAM)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- 1–2+ years CNC setting/operating (3–5 axis preferred)
- Experience with aluminium is a bonus
- Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 20kg and work rotating shifts
