Battery Manufacturing Maintenance Manager

In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. You will be working alongside technicians and leaders to drive our commitment to shape a future we truly believe in, together. As a Battery Production Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering operational excellence within a highly automated manufacturing environment. You’ll guide a skilled team, combining engineering expertise with a data‑driven mindset to maximise uptime and continuous improvement.

• Leading and developing maintenance teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
• Delivering equipment uptime by managing breakdown response and ensuring safe, efficient fault resolution
• Creating and managing planned preventative maintenance programmes to optimise performance and reliability
• Partnering with cross‑functional teams to achieve quality and volume targets while improving operational performance
• Driving environmental and health‑and‑safety initiatives, supporting sustainable and responsible manufacturing

• Demonstrating experience managing maintenance teams within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Applying strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge, ideally within automated production settings
• Using logical problem‑solving techniques to resolve complex technical challenges
• Understanding health and safety, quality systems and environmental practices within industrial environments
• Holding a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
