In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. You will be working alongside technicians and leaders to drive our commitment to shape a future we truly believe in, together. Use your expertise, cutting‑edge technology and problem‑solving skills to ensure efficient, sustainable and high‑quality production.

As a Battery Production Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering operational excellence within a highly automated manufacturing environment. You’ll guide a skilled team, combining engineering expertise with a data‑driven mindset to maximise uptime and continuous improvement.

What to Expect
  • Leading and developing maintenance teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Delivering equipment uptime by managing breakdown response and ensuring safe, efficient fault resolution
  • Creating and managing planned preventative maintenance programmes to optimise performance and reliability
  • Partnering with cross‑functional teams to achieve quality and volume targets while improving operational performance
  • Driving environmental and health‑and‑safety initiatives, supporting sustainable and responsible manufacturing
What You’ll Need
  • Demonstrating experience managing maintenance teams within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Applying strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge, ideally within automated production settings
  • Using logical problem‑solving techniques to resolve complex technical challenges
  • Understanding health and safety, quality systems and environmental practices within industrial environments
  • Holding a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
