Production Manager

Sharps Furniture Group is the UK’s market leader in fitted furniture, employing over 750 people with a nationwide network of showrooms. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Production Supervisor to join our team at our Head Office in Bilston.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to supervise and lead a team within our production facility. Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 25 operatives, ensuring smooth and efficient production operations.

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve production targets
• Ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met within budget
• Maintain high standards of quality across all production processes
• Take a hands‑on approach to resolving issues as they arise on shift
• Monitor workflow and optimise machine production efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management at all levels

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a production or manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, organisational, and planning skills
• A proactive, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving
• Ability to motivate and engage a team in a fast‑paced environment
• Good level of computer literacy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
