Overview

The Fabricator role in Wolverhampton involves MIG welding and fabricating steel components to precise specifications. This is a full-time, permanent position with weekday hours 6:00am–2:00pm and a salary between £14.42 and £15.38 per hour (dependent on experience).

Location:

Wolverhampton.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm (40 hours).

• Read engineering drawings, measure, mark out, cut, and fabricate steel components.
• Assemble and tack weld products prior to final welding.
• Perform MIG welding to a high standard.
• Inspect finished work to meet quality standards.
• Operate fabrication equipment safely and maintain a clean, safe workspace in line with health and safety procedures.

• Proven experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience using fabrication tools and workshop machinery.
• Ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Fabrication & Welding, Engineering, or a related discipline, or proven industry experience in a similar fabrication role.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of health and safety within a fabrication environment.

• Competitive salary of £30,000–£32,000 per year (equivalent to £14.42–£15.38 per hour), depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday working hours (6:00am–2:00pm).
• Temp to Perm full-time position.
