Welder Fabricator

CNC Recruitment is seeking for Semi-Skilled Welders to join our client in Ilminster area - a well-known construction company in the Southwest area. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various welding techniques and possess mechanical knowledge to fabricate and assemble metal components. Location Ilton Job type Temp Perm Working hours Monday Friday, 7:30am 4pm Salary up to £20 an hour, depending on experience.  

Duties
- Perform welding tasks using different techniques such as stick welding
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to engineering drawings
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards  Requirements
- Proficient in welding techniques including stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Skilful in using hand tools and power tools for metalwork
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for fabricating and assembling metal components
