Position: CNC Miller / CNC Setter Operator
The Agency is recruiting on behalf of a successful and expanding precision engineering company for an experienced CNC Miller / CNC Setter Operator . You'll be producing high-quality precision-engineered components for a wide range of industries within a well-equipped workshop.

The Role As a CNC Miller , you'll be responsible for setting and operating CNC machining centres, producing precision components to tight tolerances while maintaining exceptional quality, efficiency and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC milling machines and CNC machining centres Edit CNC programs and tooling offsets where required Manufacture precision-engineered components to engineering drawings Produce components to tight tolerances Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges Read and interpret engineering drawings Maintain quality, productivity and health & safety standards Support continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with production and quality teams Skills & Experience Required To be successful, you'll ideally have:
Previous experience as a CNC Miller , CNC Setter Operator , CNC Machinist or CNC Milling Machine Operator Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines or machining centres Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Experience with in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment Excellent attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Reliable, motivated and able to work as part of a skilled engineering team

Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Hurco, Heidenhain, Mazak or similar CNC controls would be advantageous What's on Offer?
