Backshift Line Checker

The Line Checker is responsible for ensuring the Breading and Packing Quality Control Management system is checked and issues reacted to in an appropriate manner.

• Ensure the batter viscosity, fish content, raw materials and core weights are within spec and quality standard.
• Ensure Fryer Specification are adhered to ensuring quality meets the standards.
• Carry out all line checks correctly and at the defined frequencies to ensure that all products are being produced within specifications. Completing all required paperwork accurately so traceability is maintained and is in line with Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure Metal detection, packaging and labelling are correct and carried out as per our Quality Management System with any corrective actions being recorded and actioned accordingly.
• Always adhere to company policies including the personal hygiene policy, using correct manual handling techniques, and always wearing the correct PPE.
• Understand, support, and promote brand integrity and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

• Strong planning and organisational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail.
• Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of English (written, verbal and reading).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a professional approach and attitude.
