What You Will DoThe successful candidate will report to the Process Working Team Leader.
The role will include the intermediate processing and finishing of heat exchanger assemblies which include conversion coating, general aqueous or solvent degreasing, cleanliness testing, curing/drying using ovens or vacuum dryers and mechanical preparation using bead blast equipment. The candidate must be able to work the night shift and be flexible to cover other shift patterns if they arise.
Responsibilities- Conversion coat heat exchangers in chemical process shop in accordance with standard operating procedure
- Operate and maintain the effluent plant to ensure compliance to discharge consent license
- Degrease heat exchangers using aqueous or solvent cleaning equipment in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
- Cleanliness test heat exchangers in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Oven curing or vacuum drying in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Mechanical preparation of heat exchangers using bead blast equipment or portable hand tools in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Daily use checks and TPM of all process equipment.
- To work within the Nadcap Chemical Processing procedures.
This role requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts:
Morning: 6:00 AM–1:45 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 AM–12:00 PM (Friday).
Afternoon: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 12:15 PM–5:15 PM (Friday).

Qualifications We Prefer- Proven experience as a chemical process operator preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry, is preferable however training will be provided
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to meet quality standards.
- Ideally previous experience of conformance to NADCAP standards
This role may involve access to export-controlled information and hardware. An export license may be required to comply with applicable laws and regulations. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory security checks, export license approval, and, if applicable, the completion of a non-disclosure agreement.
