We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Team Leader to join a well‑established manufacturing business within the pressings industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader with a strong background in pressings who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment and is passionate about driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Lead, motivate, and manage a production team to achieve daily production targets.
• Supervise day‑to‑day operations within the press shop.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
• Carry out hourly production and quality checks.
• Monitor and manage work in progress (WIP) to maintain production flow.
• Ensure job cards are completed accurately and production documentation is maintained.
• Allocate workloads and monitor operator performance.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions where required.
• Report production performance, downtime, quality issues, and KPI information to management.
• Maintain high housekeeping and health & safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.

• Previous experience within the pressings industry is essential.
• Proven experience in a Production Team Leader, Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
• Strong people management and team leadership skills.
• Experience working within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of quality standards, production reporting, and KPI monitoring.
• Experience managing work in progress (WIP), job cards, and production schedules.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving abilities.
