Key Responsibilities:
  • Production engineers analyze existing methods and implement changes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
  • They ensure products meet quality standards and take corrective action if necessary.
  • Production engineers identify and resolve issues related to equipment, processes, and materials.
  • They maintain detailed production documentation, report daily production figures, and identify potential issues.
  • They ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and develop safety protocols.
  • Production engineers work closely with other teams, such as quality control, R&D, and maintenance, to achieve common goals.
  • They may also be involved in developing new production systems and processes.
  • They manage materials, equipment, and labor to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • They may also be responsible for determining the capacity of production facilities.
