* Work Schedule:

** Onsite – Wolverhampton, GBRMoog Military Aircraft Group is seeking a skilled, apprentice-trained machinist to join our team in Wolverhampton. At Moog, we prioritize our customers by designing complex, bespoke, and high-profile mechanical products. Our machinists work to exceptionally close tolerances, a critical requirement in the aerospace industry.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Set up and operate multiple CNC machines/processes.
* Perform first-off inspections and complete necessary quality documentation.

Experience:

*** Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
* Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing role, ideally within the aerospace industry.
* Strong knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling.
* Proven skills in a multi-axis/complex machining environment.
* Attention to detail, accuracy, and process improvement techniques.
* Proficiency in using relevant inspection techniques/equipment to achieve drawing tolerances.
* Over 5 years experience on different mill/turn CNC machines (Okuma , Mazak , Lathe, DMG , Matsura , Puma)
** Additional Information:
** This role follows a day shift pattern and may in the future lead to a double-day shift pattern with overtime as requested.  Candidates must be self-certified and hold a quality stamp after the qualifying period.
** Security Clearance
** Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
