Double Day Shifts
- Monday-Thursday: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
- Friday: 6am-11am / 11am-4pm
Salary:
Up to £17.00 per hour ( £20 per hour including shift allowance)
We are seeking experienced CNC Millers
- Setter/Operators to join a precision engineering team. This hands-on role involves setting and operating Mazak CNC machines with Mazatrol controls, making program modifications as needed, and producing high-precision components for industries such as defence and aviation.
- Set up and operate Mazak CNC milling machines.
- Adjust offsets, change inserts, and perform tooling changes as required.
- Make modifications to programs to ensure components are produced to specification.
- Use driven tools and inspection equipment to verify quality and precision.
- Produce components for high-precision industries including defence and aviation.
- Maintain clean, organised work areas and follow health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support production targets and continuous improvement.
- Previous experience setting and operating Mazak CNC machines.
- Familiarity with Mazatrol controls and basic program modification.
- Skilled in offset adjustments, tooling changes, and use of inspection equipment.
- Experience manufacturing components for defence or aviation industries preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and consistency.
- Reliable, proactive, and a good team player.
Preferably willing to work Double Day
Shifts:
- Monday-Thursday: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
- Friday: 6am-11am / 11am-4pm
- Hourly rate: £17 per hour, depending on skill and experience.
- Shift allowance:
Additional 15% for applicable shifts. - Overtime available:
- First 5 hours at x1.5
- Next 3 hours
- Additional overtime at x2
