Event Marketing Manager Salary up to £40,000  Benefits City, London (hybrid, three days a week in the office) About the Role Our client is a well-established B2B information and events business, known for delivering high-quality content, data and networking opportunities to a specialist professional community. They are growing rapidly and are looking for a Marketing Manager to take ownership of campaign delivery across their portfolio of events, subscriptions and content products.

This is a broad, hands-on role. You'll be the operational lead for marketing, turning business priorities into effective, revenue-driving campaigns, and you'll have real autonomy to plan, execute and optimise your own work rather than simply follow instructions. The team is small, close-knit and ambitious, and there is a strong appetite for smarter ways of working, so confidence using AI and automation to streamline campaigns will set you apart.

What the Role Involves Owning campaign strategy, planning and delivery across multiple product lines Managing marketing calendars and coordinating schedules across the business Building and sending email campaigns, including data, segmentation and reporting, using a modern CRM/marketing platform Delivering lead generation campaigns aligned to commercial targets Writing copy for email, web, social and campaign assets Managing and growing company social channels Coordinating messaging with sales, editorial and events colleagues Monitoring performance and KPI dashboards, testing and optimising as you go Using AI and automation to improve marketing processes and campaign performance Contributing ideas and recommendations in planning discussions Pitching in on wider marketing or business initiatives as needed What You'll Need At least two years' experience managing B2B marketing campaigns end-to-end Strong copywriting skills across email, social, web and campaign assets Experience tailoring messaging for different audiences and channels Confidence managing multiple projects and deadlines independently Meticulous attention to detail and the instinct to sense-check your own work before it goes out An analytical, commercially minded approach to measuring and improving performance Confidence using a CRM/email marketing platform such as Hub Spot, Mailchimp or Dotdigital A genuine interest in AI and automation as tools to work smarter Comfort picking up new software quickly, including Excel, Canva and Photoshop Good working knowledge of GDPR and B2B marketing best practice Strong communication, attention to detail and stakeholder management skills Apply via the link About Jackson Barnes Recruitment - Jackson Barnes Recruitment (J ) delivers international recruitment solutions within the events, media and publishing sectors, placing candidates from graduate to MD level across Event Management, Conference Production, Event Marketing and Events Sales roles.
