Veterinary Associate (Specialist in Equine Diagnostic Imaging)

Location: Rossdales Equine Hospital and Diagnostic Centre
Rossdales Veterinary Surgeons have a unique opportunity for a Senior ECVDI or ACVR Diploma holder (a board‑eligible, residency‑trained individual may also be considered) to become part of the diagnostic imaging team at our state‑of‑the‑art Equine Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, based in Exning.
Our Hospital and Diagnostic Centre welcomes around 3,000 horses through its doors annually and has specialist teams for diagnostics, surgery, internal medicine, sports medicine, dentistry and reproduction. The Diagnostic Centre team comprises five senior clinicians (a mixture of specialists in sports medicine, surgery and diagnostic imaging) and their veterinary assistants, supported by a large team of experienced interns, veterinary technicians and radiographers.
Diagnostic facilities include computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear scintigraphy, digital radiography and ultrasound, a large lameness work‑up area, an all‑weather arena and lungeing areas.
Full‑time and part‑time applicants will be considered. This role will include contribution to the out of hours on‑call service. Other hours, including Bank Holidays, may be required in accordance with the Practice needs. Depending on interest and expertise of the successful candidate, work outside the imaging department such as in orthopaedic poor performance, may be accommodated.
Professional indemnity insurance, RCVS membership and two other professional memberships will be paid for by the practice.
The successful candidate will be able to take advantage of an excellent CPD package, which promotes learning both externally and with access to our internationally renowned Rossdales CPD programmes.
Applicants must be eligible to register with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and must have the right to work in the UK.
Clinicians currently working abroad are welcome to apply but must be able to register with the RCVS at the time of interview. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
