An exciting opportunity has become available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, experienced and supportive small animal veterinary team in York, North Yorkshire
. This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN looking to develop their career within a well-established practice that places a strong emphasis on patient care, colleague support and professional development.

The RoleThis is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term Registered Veterinary Nurse position
, based at one of the practice's established sites in York.
The working pattern includes:
- Salary of £28,000–£30,000
, depending on experience - 12-month fixed-term contract
- Full-time –
40 hours per week - Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate
- Shifts between 8am and 7pm
- No out-of-hours requirements
- 1:6 Saturday morning rota

The practice is part of a well-established veterinary group with multiple sites across York and a large, experienced clinical team.
You’ll be working alongside:
- Experienced Veterinary Surgeons
- Registered Veterinary Nurses
- Student Veterinary Nurses
- Veterinary Care Assistants
- A dedicated customer care team

About YouWe are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
You will ideally:
- Be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Have experience working within a small animal veterinary practice, although newly qualified RVNs are welcome to apply
- Have a strong focus on patient welfare and clinical standards
- Be confident communicating with clients and colleagues
- Be organised and able to work effectively within a busy clinical environment
- Be keen to continue developing your skills and knowledge
- Enjoy working as part of a supportive and experienced nursing team
The salary for this role is £28,000–£30,000
, depending on experience.
