As a QA and Compliance Analyst at Eurofins Food and Water Testing UK, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the rollout of the next-generation Laboratory Information Management System across 18 laboratories in the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for analysing business processes, understanding LIMS functionalities, and designing functional, risk-based test scenarios to ensure system quality, compliance, and fitness for purpose.
Working as part of a large and dynamic IT team, you will collaborate with business units across the UK and Ireland (primarily in the UK) to identify the bugs/issues, gaps in the systems you test and make sure they are corrected before they are onboarded to any lab/sites. Your focus will be on laboratories and LIMS systems, where you will play a crucial role in and replacing legacy LIMS systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience working cross‑functionally with internal teams and external affiliates to ensure systems are compliant with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, and GxP standards, while supporting the rollout and validation of our LIMS application and its integrated systems.
Main Duties- Lead and coordinate testing activities to ensure compliance and fitness for purpose of eLIMS NG and integrated peripheral systems (e.g., EOL, CRM, ComLIMS).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to analyse and validate LIMS system functionalities in line with regulatory and quality standards.
- Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases based on functional understanding and compliance requirements.
- Document, track, and report bugs, system issues, and non‑conformities, ensuring closure prior to quality sign‑off.
- Partner with business teams to support OQ (Operational Qualification) testing, preparing compliant documentation for audit readiness.
- Perform end‑to‑end testing of the LIMS application prior to lab onboarding to ensure system readiness and data integrity.
- Proactively identify risks, inconsistencies, and deviations from standards, driving continuous improvement in system and process quality.
- Maintain structured documentation to support audit trails, inspections, and internal/external audits.
- Proven experience coordinating IT QA and business audits/inspections with reference to ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, and GxP standards.
- Preferable to have strong knowledge of LIMS systems and system validation principles (GxP, GAMP5).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a sharp eye for detail and compliance gaps.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to liaise with technical teams, business stakeholders, and auditors.
- Ability to engage constructively, challenge assumptions, and advocate for quality‑driven decisions.
