Role Overview - Quality Engineer Work Transfers Team

Based at the Wolverhampton Site. Starting from £26.00/hour PAYE or £34.56/hour Umbrella. Standard Working Hours (Days).

• Implement quality methodologies to evaluate and control systems in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
• Utilise APQP and PPAP tools to support product development, including:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Certification in Quality Engineering (e.g. CQE) or relevant quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 auditor).
• Proven experience in quality engineering, with a strong focus on quality assurance within manufacturing environments.
• Direct experience managing work transfer projects, demonstrating success in maintaining or enhancing quality standards during transitions.

• Advanced knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, with a proven track record of driving quality and efficiency improvements.
• Familiarity with international quality standards and capability to manage quality across diverse geographical and regulatory environments.
• Proficiency in quality‑related software tools and advanced data analysis skills.
• Strong project management skills, with experience leading quality projects across cross‑functional teams.
