An established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality activity within a manufacturing facility.
This is a hands-on leadership role, suited to someone who can help build and embed quality systems, support production readiness, and develop a capable quality team across inspection, quality engineering and technical quality functions.
The environment is highly regulated, with a strong focus on traceability, right-first-time manufacturing, audit readiness and continuous improvement. Experience from sectors such as aerospace, defence, automotive, nuclear, precision engineering or other regulated manufacturing environments would be highly relevant.
- Leading day-to-day QA/QC activity across the facility.
- Supporting the development and implementation of the Quality Management System.
- Managing quality documentation, inspection controls, traceability and lifetime records.
- Leading NCR, root cause, CAPA and continuous improvement activity.
- Supporting audits, customer requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Coaching and developing a growing quality team.
- Working closely with operations, engineering, projects and supply chain to embed quality standards on the shop floor.
- Experience in a Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer or quality leadership role.
- A background in regulated or high-integrity manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and robust QMS environments.
- Experience with tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, Lean Six Sigma or similar.
- A practical, visible and proactive leadership style.
