• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic tandoori dishes, including meats, vegetables, and bread, adhering to traditional recipes and presentation standards
• Supervise food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and safety standards are met
• Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth daily operations
• Oversee food preparation activities, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service hours
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
• Assist in menu development by suggesting new tandoori recipes and improving existing dishes
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to prevent shortages
• Ensure the kitchen area is kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
