Retail Supervisor

Overview

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Wednesfield, West Midlands. This permanent 39‑hour full‑time position involves a variety of shifts, 5 days a week starting at 7 each day. Full‑time roles require full flexibility, including weekends.

Hourly pay rate: £13.11. Minimum guaranteed hours: 39 hours per week, which equates to at least £511 per week. Overtime may be available. You will receive 30 days holiday each year and the following benefits:

• Support the manager as part of the management team, running an efficient shop and providing great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for controlling operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• A ‘people person’ who can build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Trustworthy and reliable, as the team and customers depend on you to perform your duties to the best of your ability at all times.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or a similar industry is preferable, but we welcome applicants starting their retail management career.
