A well-established and respected business operating within the UK food distribution sector is seeking an experienced Meat Trader / Sales Executive to join its growing commercial team in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Identify customer requirements and provide suitable product recommendations.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while maintaining profitability targets.
- Monitor stock availability and support effective inventory management.
- Analyse market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activity to support commercial decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and product information.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and revenue growth objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant company policies and industry standards.

Candidate Requirements:

- Previous experience within meat trading, meat sales, or a related sector is essential.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse market conditions and identify opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to customer service and sales.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
