National Account Sales Manager

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands - Flexible working arrangements, with regular office attendance and national customer visits as required.

• Maintain and grow sales within our existing customer base while establishing new accounts within the wholesale, cash and carry and discount sectors.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with national and regional customers.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Monitor customer performance, competitor pricing and market trends.
• Identify opportunities to increase distribution, sales and profitability.
• Report monthly on sales activity, revenue, profitability and sales forecasts.
• Work closely with the company directors to achieve agreed sales and profit targets.

• Have proven sales experience, ideally within the soft drinks, food and beverage or FMCG sector.
• Have experience working with regional and national accounts, including independent wholesalers, cash and carries and discount retailers.
• Demonstrate a successful track record of winning new business, achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.
• Have strong commercial awareness, including an understanding of pricing, margins and profitability.
• Be proactive, self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Have excellent communication, negotiation, organizational and numerical skills.
• Hold a full UK driving license.
