As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of the local lettings business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting accurate rental valuations and securing new landlord instructions.
• Generating new business and growing managed and let-only portfolios.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with landlords.
• Managing offers, negotiations and landlord and tenant queries professionally.
• Taking ownership of the day-to-day running of your area of responsibility.
• Developing and implementing local strategies to increase market share.
• Driving performance and supporting colleagues as the business continues to grow.
• Maintaining compliance with lettings legislation, company procedures and industry standards.
• Contributing to a positive, high-performing and service-led office culture.
• Consistently meeting and exceeding agreed KPIs and performance targets.

We're looking for someone who is driven, personable and commercially focused, with the confidence to build relationships and convert opportunities into business.

Ideally, you will have:

• Proven experience in a similar lettings or property business development role.
• A strong track record in rental valuations, winning instructions and negotiations.
• A proactive approach to generating new business and developing client relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A commercial mindset with an eye for identifying opportunities for growth.
• The ability to motivate others, work collaboratively and take ownership.
• A strong understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance, or a willingness to develop your knowledge.
• A genuine passion for property, people and delivering outstanding service.

• £32,000 basic salary.
• Realistic OTE of £38,000+, with pooled commission based on team success and individual performance-related incentives.

Monday to Friday, 8:45am-6:00pm
