HGV Mechanic

Are you an experiencedHGV Mechaniclooking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our dynamic team and help maintain and service our fleet of vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
• Diagnose and repair vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for their annual MOTs
• Handle breakdowns and on-site repairs, ensuring full compliance with health & safety standards
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain accurate service and repair records
• Carry out 6-weekly safety inspections to maximise vehicle availability and efficiency
• Take part in general workshop duties, ensuring the workspace is well-maintained and organised

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, working with a range of heavy goods vehicles
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
