Field Service Engineer

Our client is a leading supplier of vehicle wash machinery and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer.

We are seeking field service engineer with good electrical engineering skills to undertake machine installations, maintenance and repair work throughout the Midlands and North West of England.

Salary £40K -£44K +OT +Van + Bonus OTE £48K -£50K

The Role:

Reporting to service manager you will be responsible for 3-phase electrical & mechanical installation service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;

Assist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning
Provide 3-phase electrical installation, fault find and repair motors, control panels, contractors, sensors, relays etc.etc.
Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault find and repair work
Undertake scheduled planned maintenance checks
Ensure accurate visit reports including details of work undertaken /completed is recorded on computer system

Candidate:

You will be a multi-skilled engineer with excellent electrical and mechanical engineering skills.

You will have a recognised electrical engineering qualification e.g. 18th edition, HNC/NVQ 3 and you will have good mechanical skills too.

Previous work experience with vehicle wash machinery or high pressure wash systems would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.

You will be computer literate and you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be comfortable with working outdoors.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 45 Hours
