City of Wolverhampton Council is inviting applications for a Family Time Facilitator based at the Connecting Families Hub.

Key Information

Title:

Family Time Facilitator – Based at the Connecting Families Hub.
Salary: £30,024 – £33,699 (Grade
5)

Hours:

37 hours per week, Saturdays on rota

Contract:

Full time, Fixed Term Contract until February 2027.

Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive service to families in crisis and planned interventions for children and young people.
  • Plan, supervise and assess family time between children and parents or extended family to achieve high quality, safe family time.
  • Work to change behaviours and rehabilitate individuals while ensuring health and safety and security of children and their families.
  • Collaborate closely with social workers and other professionals in a multi‑agency context for coordinated casework planning.
Qualifications
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Education, Health or Social Care, Community Development or a Diploma in Youth & Community Work.
  • English and Maths or equivalent to level 2 of the National Qualification Framework.
  • Previous experience working with children, young people and families preferred.
