Project description

Luxoft Financial Services has one of the world's leading Murex practices. We are a top-tier Murex Alliance Partner and a market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade and migration. We provide end-to end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset-classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury and insurance. Whether you possess a background in finance, technology or Mathematics, your experience in the capital markets industry would be of high interest to us.

Responsibilities
  • Assess current Murex architecture, integration landscape, and operating model to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Define and advise on the target operating model (TOM) for Murex covering integration, data, and end-to-end trade lifecycle. Provide strategic guidance on MX.3 integration capabilities (MxML, APIs, Connectivity 2.0, Datamart, market interfaces) within the TOM. Lead architecture design for scalable, resilient upstream and downstream integrations aligned to future-state objectives.

Evaluate and rationalize existing interfaces, workflows, and end‑of‑day processes to improve efficiency and operability. Establish integration standards, patterns, and governance (real‑time, batch, APIs, messaging) across the ecosystem. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural roadmaps and solutions. Support transformation initiatives including version upgrades, cloud readiness, and platform modernization. Oversee integration delivery quality through design reviews, testing strategy (SIT/UAT), and release governance.

Provide ongoing advisory and thought leadership to ensure alignment of implementation with target architecture and operating model vision.
Skills Must have
  • 7-12 years of overall Murex experience with strong focus on integration and architecture
  • Hands‑on expertise across MX.3 stack including trade interfaces, market data, Datamart, reporting, and EOD processes
  • Solid experience with MxML (Exchange/Workflows) and Murex integration frameworks and APIs
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging (MQ/Kafka), and real‑time vs batch processing
  • Proven ability to design and bootstrap scalable technical solutions to solve business problems
  • Experience reviewing and defining architecture, integration flows, and system design patterns
  • Exposure to workflow orchestration and scheduler‑driven processes (e.g., EOD cycles)
  • Familiarity with FX and derivatives business processes (Front Office exposure is a plus)
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with ability to assess and improve existing solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage business stakeholders, including Trading, FO, MO and BO
Nice to have
