HGV Class 2 Skip Driver

Wolverhampton Pay Rate: £14.92 per hour Weekly Pay Guaranteed Minimum 45 Hours Per Week Permanent Position

Shifts:

Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 4:45pm 1 in every 2 Saturdays: 6:00am - 11:00am Immediate Starts Available Smart Solutions are recruiting a Class 2 Skip Driver on behalf of a well‑established and growing independent waste management company based in Wolverhampton.

Whether you're an experienced Skip Driver or an HGV Class 2 Driver looking to learn a new skill, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with long‑term job security, a dedicated vehicle and full training provided.

No previous skip experience is required

• full training will be given.

• Safely operate a Class 2 skip vehicle
• Deliver and collect skips from commercial and domestic customers
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Complete all required paperwork accurately
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Follow all transport, health and safety and company procedures

• Class 2 (Category
  
  C) Licence
• Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience (insurance requirement)
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
• Reliable and professional approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
