HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights - Tipton | £18.00 per hour | Monday to Friday | 19:00 Starts | Double Decker Trailers | Ongoing Work | Weekly Pay People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights to join our well-established client based in Tipton, West Midlands . This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing Monday to Friday night work, excellent hourly rates, immediate starts and genuine long-term opportunities within a professional transport operation.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, Category CE Driver, CE Driver, Trunk Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, HGV Driver or Commercial Driver . Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 19:00 start times
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift Rates of Pay • £18.00 per hour

• Employee Wellbeing Programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights , your duties will include:
• Driving and operating Category CE (Class
1) vehicles safely and efficiently
• Operating double-decker trailers
• Completing deliveries and collections across designated routes
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections
• Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant before transport
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Following Driver Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive and all road traffic legislation
• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly
• Assisting with loading and unloading where required Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Valid UK Category CE (Class
1) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum of 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Good spoken and written English
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• Professional and safety-focused approach

Desirable Experience
• Previous experience operating double-decker trailers
• Previous trunking or commercial Class 1 driving experience
• Experience working within a fast-paced transport operation Training Provided
